Living a lie

I keep on smiling even when I’m in pain I say I’m okay even though I am going insane I told you it’s no big deal but deep down I wanted to cry I’m sorry ‘cause I had to lie

I post my pictures and videos online A lot have comments that I look so fine I show that I’m confident as I reply But I’m insecure as well so that’s another lie I say I don’t care when in fact I do I say I’m not in love even when I love you I push people away even though I hate goodbyes How can life be so filled with numerous lies?

My apologies, ‘cause I hide the truth often

It’s not only ‘cause I want to but I just don’t want to be a burden

Lying while living is inevitable—and you know why?

‘Cause no one can spell life without including lie
