Undaunted Truth Seeker

Filipinos’ resiliency showed power and unity, it is the ability to stand up after the storm and swim throughout an ocean of numerous complicated situations— but as people think about it after facing both natural and man-made disasters, some didn’t really see its effectiveness during and after disasters.
One of the famous lines of Filipinos is “Think positive, kaya natin ‘to” and these are normal to talk about with our ‘kumpare and kumare’. Cheering everyone from what just happened because they survived and to empower positivity— but without implementing proper and positive actions this might be a futile approach.
People should also think about how the government is lacking support especially with the current needs of Filipinos— particularly during this pandemic which caused an unemployment rate that is about 8.7 percent of the population based on the Labor Force Survey (LFS). On the other hand, some Filipinos also use this as a lifesaver— but without doing an effective action that should support their needs. This indicates how incompetent Filipinos are, which we shouldn’t be.
There are happenings we don’t expect but we should be aware and prepared in battle
— not only pertaining to literal wars but also with possible events that can terribly hit us sooner or later.
As a citizen with great characteristics, we don’t just tolerate the line of staying positive in mind but it should also be done in actions. This will lead us to be in front of the line with other powerful countries all over the world, especially that we face the same problems as them at the moment.
