As the University volunteered to the Manila Local Government Unit (LGU), patients with mild symptoms and asymptomatic will be brought to the said isolation facility based on Fr. Aldrin Suan, CM, Director of AdU’s Office for Athletic Development (OAD).
The dorm can accommodate more or less than 56 people with its 22 rooms including the medical staff who will stay on the first floor with four rooms— while patients will occupy the 18 rooms and will be distributed by three, each room with borders.
Operation of the said facility of AdU started last April 21, 2021, observations and preparations were handled by the National and Manila Chapters of Red Cross.
This project consists of three parts agreement with the City Government of Manila and Red Cross where the University of Adamson will be given the responsibility of needs such as water, electricity supply, and security. This is considered not the first time of the Vincentian community from AdU to share their commitment at answering the call of the needs of the community.
