April 24, 2021 — The Department of Communication celebrated its 10th anniversary entitled “aTEN ‘to: COMM Day 2021” from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm through an online Zoom meeting.
COMM Day is an annual celebration of the founding anniversary of the Department of Communication.
In their 10th year, everything was done online from pre-event games up to the event itself because of the limits of the pandemic.

The event lasted for 3 hours, starting with the preliminaries and followed by the welcoming remarks of Dr. Gliceria C. Lunag, Dean of the College of Education and Liberal Arts.
The pre-event games started from February, from there the facilitators tallied the scores of the students from first year to fourth year. The tally ended with the second year students being in first place with 85 points. As a way for the other years to have a chance, the games continued on the day of the event.
The event ended with the 3rd-year students winning first place with 110.5 points, 2nd-year students in second place with 105 points, followed by 1st-year students with 82.5 points, and lastly, 4th-year students with 43 points.
The whole COMM Day celebration was hosted by Angelica Sanchez and Nitz Tan— and even with the limitations of this pandemic, it didn’t stop the COMMunity from celebrating their founding anniversary.
