Lola Lucing was infected with COVID-19 but has recovered in January this year.
She got it from a family member who they had no idea was already infected with the virus.
The family then agreed to vaccinate Lola Lucing, they were initially skeptical of the vaccine due to the risks and side effects, particularly because Lola Lucing is already 101 years old.
After all, the benefits outweighed the negative effects for them.
Maurin Mae Dolina, her granddaughter-in-law, used social media to share pictures of Lola Lucing's vaccination, as well as to promote the fact that getting vaccinated is still the safest way to avoid contracting the virus, and that people should not be afraid of its side effects.
As of now, the government has administered over 3 million COVID-19 doses, with over 2.5 million serving as first doses.
